Museum Mandala Jogjakarta, Part 2
Now let us move into the museum, again in the museum atmosphere is very quiet. When I first entered we took time to see the air force knick-knacks, such as a list of existing rank in the Air Force, or any old photos of the Air Force.
Due to time constraints we chose to skip the photos of this interesting and would prefer to find the aircraft that lies within. Recently we were greeted by incoming small aircraft named RI - X, do not underestimate its small because of the RI-X is the forerunner of modern Indonesian aircraft industry developed. Even this plane was once used by the Indonesian to bomb Dutch army headquarters in Semarang, well maybe you think how this small airplane can bomb barrack militer, probably the bomb size is like grenade . But hey atleast they tried:). RI-X then retired due to the heavy damage when it bombed in Magelang by communist rebel in Magelang. Too bad. Oh By the way this plane uses Harley Davidson engine, i dont know that in the past Harley Davidson also build airplane engines
Actually there are many spaces in this museum, but we remain focused to find the plane. and voila, we found it
The only drawback of this museum I think are the limitations of space, the planes just as crammed inside the hangar. It's hard to take pictures of the aircraft as a whole because there must be some other plane parts that come into photo.
Oh wait ... why are these people put the 3 kg LPG cylinder in the room? oh my false, its only a torpedo
The size of the engine .... just makes me wonder how this big machine can fit on the plane?
Trends flat car started to spread to the plane, you should add the lights underneath, a little spring and hey you're a rapper impromptu. I imagine if pilot of this landed directly say ... Hey Yo Wassup
Woooha someone forgot to return the plane?
Certainly not the first choice when you travel by plane. If you entered this plane, the goal is clear. Landed by parachute!
I think they should be careful to put the missile active in the museum, because visitors can pick up and play them
They also put a radar in the museum ... wooow
I think the thing that distinguishes Mandala museum with other museums is that you can interact directly with objects in the museum. In other museum objects in the glass cabinet with the words "Do not touch" or "Do not Go", but here we can touch the planes directly. Feeling the cold aluminum on the plane, or a touch of rust on the wing, even mounted directly to several objects. I guess that's what makes this museum different.
